Periodic Maintenance and Service Solutions

Maintenance and Service for the Continuity of Your Fire Protection Systems

The ability of your fire protection systems to operate on time, efficiently, and reliably in critical moments is only possible through regular maintenance and service practices. At Extintech, we leverage our technical expertise to develop customized maintenance and management programs that keep your systems performing at their best.

Ensuring that fire protection equipment is always operational through regular inspections and testing is crucial for both life safety and the protection of your assets. Our expert engineers create and implement a tailored maintenance plan based on the specific needs of your facility.

Extintech has extensive experience in the planned maintenance of fixed fire suppression systems. Our team conducts all necessary periodic checks in accordance with insurance requirements and regulatory standards, performed by trained and certified personnel.

All maintenance and service operations are carried out in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and relevant national and international standards. This ensures our clients can be confident that their fire protection systems are inspected to the highest standards.

Following each maintenance service, a comprehensive written report is provided, detailing all inspections conducted and any findings observed. The report includes test results, observations, and, where necessary, recommended corrective actions.

At Extintech, our mission is not just to install your systems but to ensure they operate safely throughout their lifecycle and keep you constantly prepared against potential fire risks.

Systems We Service

  • INERGEN® Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems

  • Nitrogen (N2) Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems

  • Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Fire Suppression Systems

  • FM-200® Suppression Systems

  • NOVEC 1230 Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems

  • Firetrace Micro-Tube Suppression Systems

  • Aerosol Suppression Systems

  • Kitchen (Wet Chemical) Fire Suppression Systems

  • Fire Alarm and Detection Systems

  • Aspirating Smoke Detection Systems

Fire safety systems are critical and must operate promptly, effectively, and in a controlled manner during a fire scenario. However, no matter how well-designed a system may be, technical failures or unexpected issues can occur.

At Extintech, we offer contractual periodic maintenance services to ensure uninterrupted protection for lives, facilities, and investments all year round.

Thanks to our nationwide service infrastructure and mobile technical teams, we are ready to intervene anywhere, anytime in the shortest possible time in case of failure.

With region-specific maximum response times, we arrive on-site to resolve issues directly and effectively.

Extintech is not only your installation partner but also a reliable emergency response ally.

All steel cylinders used in high-pressure gaseous fire suppression systems must be tested and certified every 10 years according to European standards. This legal requirement is clearly defined in EN 1968:2002 (seamless steel cylinders) and EN 1803:2002 (welded carbon steel cylinders).

However, this mandatory process poses a risk for facilities where business continuity is critical, as removing cylinders for testing can leave the facility temporarily unprotected against fire.

To eliminate this risk, Extintech has developed a “Cylinder Replacement Program” that minimizes operational disruption.

Within this scope, expired or uncertified cylinders in your system are replaced with new, certified-for-10-years cylinders during a single service visit, and the system is recommissioned.

What Does This Service Provide?

  • Minimizes System Downtime

  • Maintains Business Continuity

  • Ensures Cost and Workforce Efficiency

  • Keeps Your High-Pressure Suppression System Certified for Another 10 Years

All operations are carried out by trained and certified Extintech engineers in compliance with technical safety and quality standards.

Extintech also offers both pressure testing and full replacement services for cylinders of contracted brands installed in Turkey.

Additionally, upon request, refilling services are available for the following gases:

  • FM200 (HFC-227EA)

  • NOVEC 1230

  • INERGEN (IG541)

  • ARGONITE (IG55)

  • ARGON (IG01)

  • NITROGEN (IG100)

  • CARBON DIOXIDE (CO₂)

Extintech can also evaluate your existing systems on-site and provide alternative solutions for upgrading to environmentally friendly, non-ozone-depleting, next-generation suppression systems. This ensures your system remains certified and safe for another 10 years, compliant with both technical and environmental standards.

Will Your Gaseous Suppression System Truly Protect?

The most critical question in gaseous fire suppression systems is:

When activated, will the released gas reach adequate concentration and maintain it long enough to extinguish the fire and prevent reignition?

Even if mechanical and electrical components are functioning properly, the answer can only be verified with enclosure integrity testing.

To meet this need, Extintech oversees field tests conducted using portable, variable-speed fan systems. These tests measure gas retention capacity and determine if the “hold time” is sufficient—without needing to discharge the gas.

Compliance with Legal and International Standards

  • ISO, BS (British Standards), and EN (European Norms) now mandate such fan-based integrity tests for all newly installed gaseous fire suppression systems.

  • It is also recommended to retest annually, as architectural or technical modifications within the space can affect system performance.

Applicable Across Various Areas

Extintech engineers conduct tests promptly and on-site.

The system is effectively applied in a wide range of environments, including:

  • Server and data centers

  • UPS rooms

  • Power rooms

  • Telecommunication infrastructures

  • Turbine enclosures

  • Archives and museum spaces

  • All sensitive-volume areas
